I don’t force moments or over-direct. I guide when needed, but mostly I let you be present. Because the moments you’ll remember most are usually the quiet, unexpected ones you didn’t plan for.

GET TO KNOW ME

Hi, I’m Sophia, a Denver-based elopement and wedding photographer, proud member of the LGBTQ+ community, and someone who genuinely just loves love. I’m engaged to my incredible partner, and we’re currently planning our own mountain elopement; choosing something intentional, meaningful, and rooted in the outdoors we feel most at home in. Being in this season myself has deepened the way I show up for my couples. I understand how personal these decisions are, how overwhelming they can feel, and how important it is to create a day that actually reflects who you are. When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me baking something sweet, tending to my plants, blasting country music, camping, or exploring a new national park. The mountains are my soft place to land, my reset, my escape, and where I feel most like myself. I’m unapologetically me: goofy, grounded, and a little silly. I’ll make you feel comfortable and calm, but I’ll also hype you up from start to finish. Because I know what it feels like to choose the wild.

"We had a simple intimate wedding on a mountain pass and one of the most important things for me was to have a photographer to capture this special day. My now husband and I are awkward and not great at taking pictures so getting good photos was a fear for me. But when it came to the time, Sophia was enthusiastic and eager to get all of the most amazing shots! She made the photo session fun and relaxed, and captured our newly married bliss wonderfully!
