I never wanted to just take photos. I wanted to tell stories.

Stories of real, breathtaking, once-in-a-lifetime love. Stories where you don’t feel like you’re performing for the camera—but like your true, unfiltered selves.

But too often, I heard couples say:

"We don’t want to feel like we’re being put into a box."

And that’s when I knew

Every couple is different, and your photos should reflect that. I specialize in posing couples in a way that feels authentic, natural, and true to their connection—never forced or stiff. Whether it’s playful, intimate, adventurous, or something in between, I guide you in a way that feels effortless and real.

I also know how important it is for LGBTQ+ couples to feel truly seen. Too often, queer couples are directed into traditional, straight-coded poses that don’t reflect their love or dynamic.

Love isn’t one-size-fits-all, and your wedding photography shouldn’t be either. Whether you're exchanging vows on a mountaintop, wrapped up in each other’s arms, or sharing a quiet moment before the ceremony.

With a true-to-color, storytelling-driven style, I focus on the in-between moments—the glances, the laughter, the way you hold each other when no one’s watching.

Because years from now, when you look back at your wedding photos…

I want you to feel it all over again.

"We just want our photos to feel like us. not something staged or forced."

this industry needed more.

as a queer photographer,

That’s why I’ve made it a priority to create a space where every couple-queer or straight—feels fully themselves in front of the camera.

I’m there to capture the way it feels, not just the way it looks.

We loved working with Sophia for our wedding! We received so many compliments afterwards about how great and fun she was! She was out on the dance floor with us while taking photos. She was very responsive when I had questions and was great about checking in leading up to the big day. She’s a natural and was so easy to work with, she was our hype woman all day!!

We’ve had a great experience working with Sophia so far. During our photo session she gave us a lot of direction for our poses but also helped us to lean into our natural selves. She cheered us on the whole time, making us laugh and feel comfortable. The resulting pictures were amazing!! And Sophia has been so great to work with along the way, she is very resourceful and kind. We’d recommend her to anyone we know!

We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding photographer! From start to finish, Sophia was full of energy and brought such a positive, upbeat vibe to our day. She made us feel completely at ease in front of the camera, capturing both the big moments and the little ones in between. The photos turned out even more beautiful than we imagined, perfectly capturing the emotions of the day. If you’re looking for a photographer who is not only talented but also an absolute joy to work with, we highly recommend Sophia!
